Once again, the Russell County Fair in a co-operative program with the “Red Star” Yeast Company will include in the baking contests a competition in the art of Yeast Baking. Bring your entries for the contest to the Home Economics Building on the Russell County Fairground on Sunday, September 2nd, 2018 from 2:30-5:00 PM.

A new requirement this year is to be eligible to win the Red Star Yeast 1st, 2nd and 3rd place merchandise prizes:

– contestants must use Red Star Yeast and attach an empty packet or photo to their recipe entry.
